Family Story & Craft! In-Person

This Family Story and Craft event is geared for children ages 3-7 with the help of their adult care-giver!

In this event, early childhood literacy is promoted through reading books aloud as well as developing fine motor skills through simple crafts to prepare young children to be able to succeed in daily tasks related to both school and life. We will be making crafts related to a picture book that would incorporate activities to help with developing scissors skills, holding a writing utensil correctly, hand and finger strengthening using tongs/scissors/bottle of glue/glue sticks, tracing images or items on paper, and strengthen hand-eye coordination.

This month, we will be reading I Spy With My Little Eye by Edward Gibbs and making an I Spy bottle (not messy!).

This event will take place in-person in the Storytime Room. Please register all children that will participating in the craft (limited supplies).  (Adults do not need to register.)

Please contact Meg Stoffel at megan.stoffel@libraryweb.org with any questions or concerns!.
