Join the educators from the SafeZone Initiative (former educators from the Out Alliance) for an introduction to LGBTQ+ identities. The SafeZone Initiative aims to break down barriers through education and honest dialogue. The SafeZone Initiative believes in order to make true change in the world, you have to start with education. Speakers will share their personal coming out stories, discuss basic LGBTQ+ terminology, and help participants to distinguish between gender identity, orientation, and gender expression. There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the program.

This event will meet online using Zoom. Some basic knowledge of how to use Zoom is required, such as how to join a meeting. Email invitations will be sent out to registrants 12-24 hours in advance.
