Want to know more about the NY Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act? Then join us for this informative event with New York State Senator Jeremy Cooney. He will discuss the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act, cannabis arrest record expungement, and other implications of the act. He will also respond to questions. About the Presenter: Senator Cooney was adopted from an orphanage in Kolkata, India and raised by a single mother in the City of Rochester. He earned his B.A. with honors from Hobart College and his J.D. from Albany Law School. He made history in 2020 as the first Asian American elected to state office from upstate New York, and the first state senator in decades to graduate from Rochester City School District (RCSD). 

This event will meet online using Zoom. Some basic knowledge of how to use Zoom is required, such as how to join a meeting. Email invitations will be sent out to registrants 12-24 hours in advance.
