Caring For Your Photographs In-Person

Rochester, New York has a rich history in photography, but not everyone knows what to do with photographs in their home. In this class, students will learn how to care for their photographs long-term including basic handling guidelines, photography identification tips, storage recommendations for photographs, resources for scanning photographs and more!

About the Presenter:  Erin Fisher is a local Researcher and Photographer and she is currently the Collections Manager of the Photography Technology Collection at the George Eastman Museum. She graduated with her MFA from the Photo Preservation and Collections Management program at the University of Rochester/ George Eastman Museum. She is currently pursuing her education focus towards Photography Conservation after having an amazing experience interning for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the Photography Conservation Department.
