Prepare, Respond, Recover: What to do When Disaster Strikes In-Person
Disaster can strike at any moment with little or no notice. Are you ready? In this emergency preparedness training, delivered by the American Red Cross, participants will receive a comprehensive overview on how to prepare for natural and man-made disasters that occur in New York State and how to respond to and recover from them. Learn about common disasters, ways to prepare as an individual, family, and community member--including how to build your own emergency preparedness kit--and actions you can take afterward.
Prepare, Respond, Recover will meet online using Zoom. Some basic knowledge of how to use Zoom is required, such as how to join a meeting. Email invitations will be sent out to registrants 12-24 hours in advance. Don't know how to use Zoom? We've got classes for that! Check out our full events calendar for dates and times.
