Cultural Humility Workshop In-Person

Are you looking to incorporate culturally responsive techniques into your work and personal life? Join us for an interactive online workshop led by Kit Miller of the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence. Cultural humility is a discipline of seeking to understand in the spirit of inquiry rather than from a sense of embarrassment or shame. This workshop will introduce tools related to systems thinking and perspective, to support understanding of systemic issues and clues to create systemic change.

Cultural Humility will meet online using Zoom. Some basic knowledge of how to use Zoom is required, such as how to join a meeting. Email invitations will be sent out to registrants 12-24 hours in advance. Don't know how to use Zoom? We've got classes for that! Check out our full events calendar for dates and times.

About the Gandhi Institute: The M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence is a nonprofit that equips people to use nonviolence to create a sustainable and just world for all. The Gandhi Institute collaborates with local organizations, academic institutions, students, and committed peacemakers in nonviolence education, environmental sustainability, restorative practices, and racial justice.
