Short-Form Discussion Group (Short & Sweet) In-Person
Whether you're short on time or sweet on essays, then this is the discussion group for you. Every month we'll get together and gab about a short story, essay, or article that is available, at no cost, online.
On August 28, we'll be discussing a fictional short story written by George Saunders called "The Semplica-Girl Diaries". It's part of his short story collection Tenth of December but it can be accessed here online.
The Short & Sweet: Short-Form Discussion Group will meet online using Zoom. Some basic knowledge of how to use Zoom is required, such as how to join a meeting. Email invitations will be sent out to registrants 12-24 hours in advance. Don't know how to use Zoom? We've got classes for that! Check out our full events calendar for dates and times.
