Composting Basics

Join Master Gardener Kathleen Rick for a helpful and informative basic composting class. Learn how to make an inexpensive "bin", what can be added to the bin, techniques for speeding up the composting process, and uses for the finished product. Recycling and reusing of materials will also be covered. Instituting some simple practices makes us better stewards of the earth.
