Join MCC history professor Mark Sample for the second installment of his three-part Eleanor Roosevelt series that concludes in November. Part two focuses on Eleanor Roosevelt's life and times as First Lady during the Great Depression. Among the topics covered will be her growing popularity in the nation, the creation of the town of Arthurdale in West Virginia, her involvement with Civil Rights, the re-election of FDR to the Presidency in 1936, her relationship with Lorena Hickock, and more.
