Narcan Trainings with the Monroe County Department of Public Health In-Person
Representatives from the Department of Public Health Impact Team will be on hand to offer information about services, advice, support, referrals, and will also be offering quick, five-minute Narcan trainings to anyone who stops by and anyone who completes the training will receive a Narcan kit.
What is Narcan?
Narcan, also known as Naxolone, is a medicine that can be used in an emergency situation to rapidly reverse an overdose.
To learn more about Narcan and to receive a free Narcan kit, stop by between 10-1pm.
Registration is not required, but encouraged if you'd like to receive a reminder about the event.
