Thaumatropes: Come Learn the Magic of Early Animation! In-Person
Kids, do you like cartoons? Then come and learn about an early animation toy called a thaumatrope! The thaumatrope is an optical toy and creates the illusion of motion with the "persistence of vision." You will make two images appear as one image as you create your own toy. We will learn about birds and make a thaumatrope that magically pops them into bird cages! Ages 6-11. Please register.
