Books & Bots!

Books & Bots! In-Person

Join Penfield High School's FIRST Robotics Competition Team 1511 Rolling Thunder to hear a STEM-related story, see a robot in action, and learn more about robotics. A student from this FIRST Robotics Competition Team will read the book "What Do You Do With A Problem" by Kobi Yamada, provide a demonstration of their robot, and then a question/answer session with how the book relates to building their robot. Kids will then get a chance to play with it for a bit and if time permits, an opportunity to get behind the controls, too!   More information about this group can be found here.

The program is geared to children entering grades K-4. Registration is required, please register each child attending (adults do not need to register).

If you need ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreting, please check the box on our registration form. Given 48 hours notice, we are able to provide ASL interpreting services for our programs. Please contact Stephani at Stephani.Moss@libraryweb.org for further information.
