Using Libby: Discovering the Ease of an eBook In-Person

With the retirement of the Overdrive app, and the constant increase in digital materials, it is time to introduce you to the (sort of) new app called Libby!

You can find a large array of digital materials on Libby from eBooks to audiobooks, and even entire courses on a variety of topics. Sometimes a new piece of technology can be tough to learn, so we are here to help.

You'll get a brief background on what Libby and Overdrive are, hear the answers to some of our most frequently asked question, and have a demo of Libby so you can see how it works. If you've already got questions, great! If they aren't answered during the class, we will have a chance for questions at the end.

If you need ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreting, please check the box on our registration form. Given 48 hours notice, we are able to provide ASL interpreting services for our programs. Please contact Sarah Dennison (sarah.dennison@libraryweb.org) for further information.
