Say No to Book Bans Panel at the Rochester Public Library
Join the Henrietta Public Library at the downtown Rochester Public Library (115 South Ave) for a panel co-sponsored by our library, 540WMain, and the Friends & Foundation of the Rochester Public Library on book banning and how to combat it. The panel will include librarians, authors, and academics and will discuss book bans, the disproportionate effects they have on marginalized communities, and ways to ensure intellectual freedom for all.
Admission is free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but you can register here if you'd like: https://540westmain.org/courses/say-no-to-book-bans-2/
ASL interpreting will be provided. For additional accessibility concerns, please email the 540Team at info540westmain@gmail.com.
